Francisco grew up sailing in the mountain lake of Valle de Bravo, close to Mexico City, where he occasionally still sails, mostly for pleasure. He’s been an International Judge for a few years now, spending most of his time with dinghies and catamarans, and earning himself such endearing epithets as “Bin” and “Taliban” in a clever reference to his hairstyle. He’ll be glad to go out racing with anyone who cares to ask, as long as he’s not busy blowing a whistle someplace.
